Chicago Family Photographer | An Afternoon of Love

First, I must warn you that this will be a blog post FULL to the brim with pictures. This session absolutely filled my heart. I mean it.

Following a family with my camera can be such an intimate peek into their lives and relationships. The last time I saw this little family, Amme's little man was still growing in her belly. Here it is 4 years later and I can't tell you how much I swooned over Yohance. I had to put my camera down many times just to laugh with him. Y is such a gift full of pure energy and to say that he adores his mother and grandmother would be putting it lightly. This guy loves them with every fiber of his being. We turned him loose at Millennium Park in downtown Chicago, and I couldn't be more in love with the results. Amme, I hope you enjoy these as much as I do and thank you again for trusting me by just letting the session flow. ♥

And my absolute most favorite shot of the day...

Even after running around for over two hours in the heat, Yohance was STILL full of smiles and happy. Love it. {Of course, you can TELL that I was whipped from the heat, but there he is, in the corner, ready for more! ha!}

And seriously, how gorgeous is the garden outside the Art Institute of Chicago?! I could shoot here all day. ♥

  2. Yohance is a handsome guy, but his mother takes the cake. Natural beauty! Wow, she is gorgeous!

    Great photos, great work.
