Personal Post | two hearts are better than one.

So, it's been awhile since I shared a personal post. This post is split in two.

First of all, the awesome part of our trip home this weekend was that Scott and I finally got to go out on a date for our anniversary. Six months late. Yeah. I think perhaps it's been almost a year since we've had a date night all to ourselves. Bad. Very bad. We struggle to remember that even though we have little ones that we are very much in love with, that we NEED time ALONE every now and again. Time to reconnect with Scott and Kate. We need to work on that more. Seriously.

Anywho, our date night consisted of dinner at my favorite restaurant and bowling. And even though I throw every other ball in the gutter as my stuff has been sitting in the basement ever since the move, we had fun. And well, Scott always wins. He's been bowling since he could walk. I think from now on I'm going to suggest he bowl with his other hand. Just to keep it interesting. Har. He'd probably still win.






And even though the beginning of this post states that we need more "us" time, what would a personal post be without pictures of our kidlets? These were after we got home from our long weekend in Rockford and the kids were so happy to finally be in our own yard again with their own toys.
